Button-Down Sport Shirt In Dress Gordon Tartan Poplin

We like a tartan that can go year-round, not just for holiday… this one makes for a true four-season sport shirt that looks just as good with a pair of white jeans as it does with a navy sport coat. It’s got a soft, nonfused button-down collar with just the right amount of “bloom” and an extra button at the back of the collar, which is an old-school detail originally designed to keep your tie in place… but we just like the way it looks. As always, the cut is slim but never skinny, with a high armhole for mobility and a long-enough-to-stay-tucked-in shirttail. (Sid likes it this way, but you can always get it shortened.) It’s made with single-needle stitching, 22 stitches/inch, flat-felled seams, and thick, 3.5mm Trocas shell buttons.
